Faraway Jewel has let down well at Hannover Lodge having 2 starts for a win at Hawkesbury, followed by a 3rd at Warwick Farm, in her first preparation. Will agist until end of August.
Date has completed her pre training and returned to Bjorn’s Warwick Farm stables late July, a much more developed filly. Nice trials before she went for a break and we would be looking for natural improvement this time in.
Bulletson continues to be his own worst enemy, missing the start and then flying home, to get beaten by less than the start given away when the gates open. His last 6 runs has seen him placed no further back than 5th, with 2 wins.
Olympic Fame will have her first run this preparation, at Quirindi, on Tuesday, 11th August. Over 1100m, which will be too short for her, we are looking for her to hit the line strongly, before stepping up in distance.
Kiaria has not performed up to standard for a metro horse, and has been moved to our country trainer, Geoff O’Brien, at Quirindi. Better than she has shown in 2 runs back this preparation, she will have her first run for Geoff, on his home track, on Tuesday 11th August.
Ladylovestogamble has not had much luck this preparation, running 4th at Warwick Farm and Gosford, before pulling up sore at Kembla Grange early July. Has recovered and off to Kembla Thursday 6th August, and we are looking for an improved performance.
Final Showdown won at Hawkesbury, on Thursday 30th July, at her 4th race start, over 1800m. A GEM OF A RIDE by JASON COLLETT, saw her restrained to the rear, settling well in behind the field, and in a ground saving effort, Jason bought her through the field at the 300m mark, and she was […]
Investiture made his debut at Balaklava, over 1400m on Wednesday, 29th July, and performed well, finishing 3rd. Jumping well, travelled just off the speed, before getting to the outside for the better going, for the run home. Got a bit lost without the rail to follow but went to the line well.
FARAWAY JEWEL made her debut at Hawkesbury, on Tuesday, 23rd June, over 1100m. Drawing well, jockey Jason Collett settled her at the back of the field in the run. Turning for home, and sticking to the fence, Faraway Jewel was very strong to the line, winning by 2 lengths.
BULLETSON, scratched from Tamworth on Tuesday, 16th June, went instead to his home track, Quirindi, over 1600m, on Saturday, 20th June. Squeezed out as they jumped , jockey Reece Jones settled Bulletson at the rear of the field, waiting patiently as they turned for home, and under instructions, searched for a run down the centre […]
